Snap

  1. Objective: Win all 52 cards.
  2. Setup: 2+ players. Deal the entire deck evenly, face down, to all players. Players keep their cards in a pile, unseen.
  3. Gameplay: Starting to the dealer's left, players take turns flipping the top card of their deck face-up into *one* central pile.
  4. 'Snap!': If a player flips a card that has the same rank as the card *immediately* below it, the *first* player to shout 'Snap!' wins the entire central pile.
  5. Winning the Pile: The winner adds the pile to the bottom of their own deck and starts the new central pile with their next card.
  6. Penalty (Snap Pot): If a player shouts 'Snap!' incorrectly (the cards don't match), they must give the top card of their deck to the *bottom* of the central pile as a penalty.
  7. Running Out: If a player runs out of cards, they are out of the game (or, in some rules, can stay in to shout 'Snap!' and win their way back in).
  8. Winning: The last player remaining, who has collected all the cards, wins.
