Shithead
- Objective: Be the first player to get rid of all your cards. The last player left with cards is the 'Shithead'.
- Card Rank (Low to High): 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Jack, Queen, King, Ace.
- Setup: Deal 3 cards face-down (do not look!), 3 cards face-up (on top of the face-down), and a 3-card hand to each player. Players may swap cards between their hand and their face-up cards *before* play begins.
- Gameplay - Phase 1 (Hand): The player with the lowest card (e.g., a 3) starts by placing it (or multiple 3s) on the 'play pile'. Players must keep at least 3 cards in their hand by drawing from the 'stock' pile after each play, until the stock is empty.
- Playing Rules: On your turn, you must play a card (or multiple cards of the same rank) that is equal to or higher than the top card of the play pile.
- Special Cards: 2 (Reset): Can be played on any card; the next player can play anything. 10 (Clear): Can be played on any card; clears the *entire* play pile from the game. The player who played the 10 plays again to start a new pile. Four of a Kind: If four of the same rank are played in a row (e.g., 5, 5, 5, 5), the pile is also cleared.
- Picking Up: If you cannot play a card (equal/higher or a special card), you must pick up the *entire* play pile, and your turn ends.
- Phase 2 (Face-Up): Once the stock pile is empty and your hand is empty, you must play from your 3 face-up cards, one at a time, following the same rules.
- Phase 3 (Face-Down): Once your face-up cards are gone, you must play your face-down cards one at a time, flipping one *without looking*. If it's a legal play (equal/higher/special), it stays, and play continues. If it's *not* a legal play, you must pick up the entire play pile *plus* the illegal card you flipped. You must play from your new hand before returning to your face-down cards.
- Winning: The first player to get rid of all cards (hand, face-up, and face-down) wins.
